Connect GitHub to TaskP3

Sat Dec 06 2025

TaskP3 lets you connect a repository and branch from Project Settings so changelogs can be generated from commits.

Before you begin

You need access to the TaskP3 project and a GitHub account that can authorize access to the repository you want to use.

Connect GitHub

  1. Open Project Settings: From the project, open Project Settings and select the GitHub Integration tab.
  2. Connect GitHub Account: Click Connect GitHub Account. You'll be redirected to GitHub to authorize access.
  3. Select a repository: After authorization, choose the repository you want to connect.
  4. Select a branch: Choose the branch TaskP3 should use when generating changelog content from commits.
  5. Connect Repository: Click 'Connect Repository' to complete the setup.

After connecting

  • TaskP3 shows the current repository and branch in Project Settings.
  • You can edit the repository or branch later.
  • You can disconnect the integration at any time.
